Our guide was a local and he even provided me with tips on other must-sees in the area (Ex: restaurants, activities). Would absolutely recommend. Plus: Private docking area worked out well, less boating traffic, calmer waters.

The company was efficient, friendly, and personable, but what truly made our outing special... read more was our fantastic guide, Matthew Douglas. From the moment we set out, Matthew was engaging, asked thoughtful questions, and connected with our group on so many levels. His extensive knowledge and passion for the Sechelt Inlet, where he grew up, shone through and made exploring the area with him an absolute joy.

    If you're considering an adventure with Pedals & Paddles, we highly recommend them—and if you get the chance to paddle with Matthew, you're in for a memorable experience!

Right from when we arrived, the team was attentive, informative, and overall just friendly, and fun. Our guide Matthew was absolutely the best! We couldn't have asked for a better guide, as a local, he knew exactly where to go, and he showed a real passion and love for kayaking, and also for the natural surroundings, the wildlife, and the overall area. Seriously, I don't think we could have had a more perfect guide for our group, and this will definitely go down as one of the more memorable kayaking trips I've taken!

    Thanks again, we had an absolute blast!

Matt was... read more very informative and friendly. They had all the equipment one would need including dry bags.
    Booking our trip was easy and good information was shared beforehand.
    Thank you for a great morning ocean kayaking! We will be back!

  • star rating  lovely family canoeing trip up the inlet. we stopped by on the off chance and had a good couple of hours canoeing.  - the team were amazing so helpful and reassuring. they gave us confidence and their knowledge and advice was excellent.

Our guide Matthew was sensitive to this, and at the same time was able to point out... read more the abundance of wild and sea life as we paddled along. All with his jovial good humour. First class guiding Matthew. The boats and equipment were all in great shape. I would recommend this to everyone, and sincerely hope to return.
